We purchased "Samantha: An American Girl Doll" book series for our daughter who turned 10. She loves to read and has Samantha as her American Girl Doll. The box is proudly displayed on her book shelf and the books are great stories to be able to pack in a back pack or to read anywhere. She loves them and we love her.
The box set for being used was in good shape. My daughther and I enjoyed the stories.
I love this book series, and it has a big place in my heart. I am 20 years old, and I'll be turning 21 in May, and I just bought this box set. No, not for my 11 year old cousin, but for me. When I read them, it'll be like opening up a time warp. I can't wait to read them again.
Our Little Girls love the set(s). Uncle started them with Samantha Video for Christmas 2005. Learning about the times and trials of the times is both fun AND educational (we don't tell them so much of that).
You don't have to read the Samantha ones you can read all different kinds of girls like Melissa and there is just a whole bunch of stories. It was the most fun I have ever had reading a book.I would recommend these books to EVERYONE.

I have read them over and over again.It was cool because the first time I read them what ever happened in the book happened to me. It was kind of weird.
